Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography) Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated Certifications: BLS, ARRT, IEMA Must-Have: Experience in performing basic CT scanning, Level 1 trauma experience, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment with high acuity and high volumes of patients Description: The CT department has 5 CT scanners. The traveler is expected to start IVs. Every third weekend is required. For night shifts, weekend work is Friday and Saturday. Weekend work for day shifts is Saturday and Sunday. There is no call and no holiday requirement, but candidates willing to work holidays may be considered. Solid color scrubs and some prints are acceptable. Department-specific orientation is typically 1 week. Experience with GE CT scanners is required. Candidates must understand that the environment is a drug-free campus and must produce a negative drug screen for all panels.
