Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred. License: State license required, pending license accepted. Certifications: ARRT certified in CT and Radiography, BLS certification. Must-Have: Experience with GE and/or Toshiba equipment. Description: Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position. Position requires performing and completing diagnostic procedures. Follows guidelines set by the relevant radiologic association. Prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures. Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics. Provides radiation safety for the operator and the patient. Places patients in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policies. Experience in a large hospital or trauma level I/II setting is preferred. Graduate of an accredited radiography program is required. Must be registered with ARRT and have experience with epic EMR. Typical volume for the department is 270-290 scans per day. Weekend and holiday coverage is required. Must be able to follow established protocols for patient care and safety. Travelers may be required to float to other departments as needed. Attendance is critical; excessive call-offs may lead to termination. All candidates must meet pre-start requirements before beginning the assignment.
