Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Eureka, CA 95501
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Eureka, California
Schedule: Day shift, Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts). Call coverage required; weekend call only. Float to outpatient department as needed (located nearby).

Work with advanced imaging technology including PET scans and multiple nuclear medicine procedures

Requirements:
Active California state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience; at least 1 year required for consideration
Proficiency in nuclear medicine procedures including 3-phase studies, gastric emptying, HIDA scans, PET scans, ventilation/perfusion studies, and whole body imaging
Experience with IV starts and maintenance, isolation precautions/PPE, and proper handling/disposal of radioactive materials
Epic charting system experience preferred
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Clean background check required; must meet strict facility background standards
Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
