Job Title: CAT Scan Tech Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Cat Scanner Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 12 Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: At least 2 full years of experience and completion of one travel assignment. License: Active Maryland License Certifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist certification ARRT, CPR required Must-Have: Completion of two years of occupationally specific education or an associate's degree in radiology technology Description: Schedule: Wednesday and Friday from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Perform CT procedures and interact with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff. Counsel patients on the radiographic procedures to be performed. Assist physicians with biopsies and drainage. Secure patients' consent for the performance of intravenous injections. Position patients on equipment. Operate scanner and related equipment in the examination of patients.
