Job Title: Computed Tomography Tech Profession: Computed Tomography Tech Specialty: Computed Tomography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice Certifications: Advanced Certification in CT, Basic Life Support (BLS), Fluoroscopy license, Venipuncture certification Must-Have: EPIC Experience Description: Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment. Produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues to diagnose medical conditions. Perform a variety of imaging procedures, not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescence to geriatric. Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location. Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information. Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to confidentiality guidelines. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Comply with safety and well-being requirements as outlined. Participate in E-Verify as required.
