Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Orange, CA 92868

Start Date: July 28, 2026

Location: Orange, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM). No weekends or holidays required. Optional call available for interested candidates (Monday-Friday 4:30 AM - 10:00 PM, Saturday-Sunday 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 60-minute response time). Initial orientation shifts will be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Highlights:
  • Work at a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
  • No weekend or holiday coverage required at this outpatient center
  • Perform general nuclear medicine studies, PET/CT scans (non-diagnostic), and Lexi scans
  • Up to 15 PET scans per day with an average daily census of 8 patients
  • Free parking provided
  • Epic charting system utilized
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience required
  • Valid California State Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (must be in hand prior to start)
  • Current BLS certification
  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required
  • Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
  • PET scan experience preferred; on-site training available
  • Cardiac nuclear medicine experience preferred, especially if interested in optional call shifts
  • Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs, performing EKGs, and using PACS systems
  • LA fire card required within the last 30 days
