Monday - classroom, powerpoint slides for most of the day, Mask fit that day as well as badge and HR paperwork as well as Dignity overview, Tuesday - classroom, logging in and logging out, following this dept manager will take them to floor to show them unit and give tour and do floor specific competencies, Wednesday - Workplace violence training, hands-on, Thursday/Friday - wrapping up modules if needed and then possibly on unit with preceptor Parking: Free - designated employee lot at back of hospital Cafeteria: Yes - only open for breakfast and lunch for specified hours, also have vending machines Special Notes: Orientation dates are only once per month for hospital, if start date does not work for traveler they will have to start the following month. Dress Code: No Hoodies/Sweatshirts or Sweat Jackets. Area Specific Information: Located 11 miles from New Hogan Lake, which is known for its boating, fishing, water skiing, hiking, and camping. Also only about 10 miles from historic California Caverns, which is known for having the most extensive system of caverns and passageways. It was used by many miners as a place to live during the California Gold Rush. The area is very small and quaint but the feel of it is very inviting. Located about 1 hour from Sacramento and 2 hrs from San Francisco.
