100 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE LICENSING HITS MUST BE DISCLOSED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION Radiation badge: Required to be provided to traveler by agency; facility will not provide. General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): Would prefer CT board certified, with experience. BLS and WV license required. Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: Would prefer ARRT CT board certification. How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 2 units. One unit is in-house and one is a mobile docked to the facility. Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: No, CT only. It is a very busy imaging section. Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Commonly performed studies include CT brain, ABD/PEL, Chest Angio, Spines, Stroke Protocols, Trauma, extremities, interventional. Experience or 'Must have' skills: Venipuncture Average # of scans/studies per day: 50-60 scans per day EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: Our HIS is Meditech Expanse and our PACS is GE Centricity. Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Both CT scanners are 2018 Siemens Edge, 128 slices. Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Joe Sult, R.T. (R) (CT) Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No Radiologist in-house?: We have 7 employed radiologists. Some work on site and others work remotely. We also utilize a Nighthawk service after-hours and on weekends. Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department): Yes Shifts & Scheduling: Week days are typically 8 hour shifts, weekends and evening/nights are covered utilizing 12, 14, and 16 hour shifts. Weekend Requirement: Possibly, depending on need at the time. Holiday Requirement: Possibly. Observed holidays include New Year s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas. Call or Standby requirement? Response time?: Possibly, as a back-up. Response time is 30 minutes. Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: Scrubs, any color. We do provide green scrubs to our clinical staff who are dealing with Covid patients.
