Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Imaging Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: Thursday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:30 PM - 6:30 AM Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: 2 years License: ARRT (CT registered) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: EPIC experience Experience with Canon/Toshiba 40 & 80 slice scanners Description: Position involves working independently in CT with the support of an onsite X-ray technician. Transport patients to and from exams. Experience required with hospital scanner featuring 80 slice capability and Medrad Stellant injector. Familiarity with basic CT principles and practices is essential. Skills required include peripheral IV starts with IV contrast injection. Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients in need of CT services. Patient ratio is expected to be 1:1. The department supervisor will provide support on the unit. Experience with EPIC charting system is required. Candidates should be prepared to learn workflow in at least one shift. Scrub color is flexible.
