Job Summary: -Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. -Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. -Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients. -Fosters teamwork through effective communication. -Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. -Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. -Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care. Schedule between shifts Day shift 7-330 8-430 Evening 3-11PM, Weekend 7A-7P (perhaps once a month), On call Mon-Thur. 20 min call back return, could change based on dept needs. Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -Organized, efficient, and multifunctional. -Ability to work independently. -Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. -Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. Preferred Skills & Experience: -Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred. Required Skills: [ "X-RAY", "SIEMENS", "BLS (CPR)" ] Additional Skills: [ "EMERGENCY RESPONSE", "OUTPATIENT" ]Education: Required Education: -Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
