Description:
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT will ensure that the evaluation of radiology procedures, equipment, and staff are administered accurately, timely, responsively, and reliably.
Customers served include employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies.
Priority will be given to activities that directly impact customer service.
Maintains confidentiality of patients and hospital information.
Complies with all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to incident reporting.
Performs other related duties as required.
Demonstrates the ability to perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
Demonstrates adequate radiation safety practices as they relate to both patients and co-workers.
Participates in all radiology management system functions pertaining to patient procedures.
Provides patient education as required.
Maintains effective communications with referring physicians and radiologist staff to ensure the efficient delivery of CT procedures.
Abides by the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology in interactions with patients, visitors, employees, or other customers.
Adheres to appropriate and accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT procedures.
