Description:
The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing various CT scans and imaging procedures.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field, with 5 years preferred.
Candidates must hold certifications in ARRT CT and ARRT R.
BLS certification is also required.
Experience in a community hospital setting is necessary.
Familiarity with the Epic charting system is essential.
Candidates should have experience in a Level II trauma center.
The position requires proficiency in a variety of CT procedures including abdomen, brain perfusion, and vascular studies.
Candidates must be able to administer contrast media and ensure radiation safety.
Additional responsibilities may include preparing patients and maintaining equipment.
The shift will be during the daytime, and the workweek will consist of 5 shifts of 8 hours each.
Candidates should be prepared for weekend coverage as needed.
The work environment will involve working with adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
This is a non-billable position, and modules may be required prior to starting.
