Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 0530-1600 + required call Experience: 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: - BLS Certification - Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Verification - Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification - Fluoroscopy permit Must-Have: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but training will be provided if necessary. - Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude. - Flexibility to rotate holidays with core staff. Description: Unit is equipped with several machines including Siemens 64 slice CTs, Siemens 128 Slice CTs, and various portable imaging devices. The average procedures performed daily is around 80 between X-Ray and CT. Electronic Medical Record system utilized is Cerner. The team consists of onsite radiologists available seven days a week during business hours, with access to teleradiologists after hours. Patient transportation is available as a departmental resource. The role requires adherence to strict response times for call and demands a commitment to promoting positive patient experiences.
