Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4/10 hr shifts - no overnights, every other weekend Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current California Certified Radiological Technologist License (CRT) Certifications: Current peripheral Vascular Access certification Must-Have: Current BLS Certificate Description: The CT Technologist must demonstrate an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. The CT Technologist must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques. The CT Technologist is the primary liaison between patients and radiologists, as well as other members of the support team. The CT Technologist uses professional and ethical judgment and critical thinking when performing their duties. There will be up to 36 hours of call-off available to the facility at no cost during the course of the assignment. Holiday coverage is required.
