Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4/10 hour shifts, no overnight shifts, every other weekend Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current California Certified Radiological Technologist License (CRT) Certifications: Current Peripheral Vascular Access certification, Current BLS Certificate Must-Have: Understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. High degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques. Ability to act as the primary liaison between patients and radiologists and other members of the support team. Use of professional and ethical judgment and critical thinking when performing duties. Description: The CT Technologist must demonstrate an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. The CT Technologist must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques. The CT Technologist serves as the primary liaison between patients and radiologists and other members of the support team. The CT Technologist uses professional and ethical judgment and critical thinking in performing their duties. There will be up to 36 hours of call-off available to the facility during the course of the assignment. Holiday coverage is required.
