Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 D/E/N rotation Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certifications: N/A Must-Have: N/A Description: Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to humans for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research purposes. Utilizes advanced aspects of computer-assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems. Assists radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures. Provides optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients effectively and appropriately for the involved patient population. Weekends and holidays included; weekends every other week. No on-call hours required.
