Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1-2 years required License: ND - preferred in hand Certifications: CT, BLS Must-Have: - Strong technician who can work in a fast-paced, busy unit - Ability to hit the ground running Description: Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to humans for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research purposes. Utilizes advanced aspects of computer-assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems. Assists radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures. Provides optimal patient care using established and accepted techniques. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients appropriately for their age group. Weekends are required, and there is no on-call duty.
