Experience with Canon and Toshiba equipment is highly preferred.
Description:
This is a 60-bed facility operating as a Level IV Trauma Center.
It is also a Stroke Ready facility.
The unit has 2 CT Scanners shared back-to-back with a control room.
The average patient census is approximately 20 scans per shift per technologist.
Patient types include outpatients, emergency department cases, and inpatients.
Common diagnoses include strokes, brain CTAs, abdomen scans, extremity scans, spine scans, neck scans, head scans, and pulmonary embolisms.
Candidates must have experience with the mentioned patient types and be comfortable working independently.
There are 2 CT Technologists scheduled during the day and 1 CT Technologist after 6:30 PM.
Imaging Patient Assistants are available to assist with transport and room preparation until 9:00 PM.
A concierge is located at the imaging desk for outpatient needs.
A radiology nurse is available until 4:00 PM, and phlebotomy support is also present in the facility.
The Lead CT Technologist will be on site during the day shift.
Registered Technologists are available 24/7, as are MRI and X-ray services.
The facility uses EPIC for electronic medical records and McKesson for PACS.
Unit-specific equipment includes Canon CT Scanners with 80 and 40 slices.
There is no floating to other units required.
Weekend rotations will be determined per requisition.
No on-call responsibilities are expected.
If a holiday falls on a scheduled day, working that day is required.
Requests for time off must be approved by the manager.
Scrub colors must be solid and professional without graphics or logos.
