Travel CT Tech - $3,192 per week in Wenatchee, WA

Shift: E/N 3, 12 s 36 hr weeks 1900-0730 Required: ARRT certification Washington State certification as radiologic technologist, registered in X Ray and CT. Shimadzu portable experience Rad speed pro, GE/OEC c arms with OR experience, Toshiba CT scanner experience EPIC experience BLS certifications *Will be taking call* Job Functions: Prepares for and performs all examinations while operating assigned equipment in a safe manner as instructed. Evaluates diagnostic image for technical quality. Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for the effective utilization of the scanner. Maintains the cleanliness of the scanner and associated minor equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures. Performs IV access, using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision. Understands and follows all universal blood and body substance precautions and personal protective equipment requirements. Complies with all continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities. Utilizes current EMR efficiently and completes required paperwork for each examination performed. Lifts and transfers patients using safe ergonomic technique and utilizes the hydraulic lift or other safe patient handling devices. Communicates with the patient's family members or caregivers when necessary.
