Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 1 year experience required License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R Must-Have: Must have experience with GE equipment within the last year. Efficient experience with stroke protocol is required. Description: The position is for a CT Tech on a day shift schedule working 4x12 hours. The assignment duration is 13 weeks. Weekend coverage is required. Call duties may be required. Travelers will float between ER and Main CT. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are accepted with at least 2 years of experience. Candidates must hold current certifications in BLS, ARRT-CT, and ARRT-R. Pediatric and adult experience is required. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center. Experience with GE equipment is essential. The technician will perform various CT imaging procedures, including but not limited to abdomen, chest, and vascular studies. Proper preparation and administration of contrast media is necessary. Candidates should be proficient in 3D rendering techniques. The position requires adherence to radiation safety standards. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
