Job Summary
Norwalk Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / CT Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in the CT Scan department. The technologist will be responsible for providing CT imaging services while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and imaging quality.
The technologist will work at the Norwalk Hospital site, where a Mobile CT Trailer is currently being used.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT imaging examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for CT procedures.
- Operate CT imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain patient safety and provide appropriate care throughout imaging procedures.
- Follow established radiation safety and imaging protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to imaging procedures.
- Communicate professionally with patients and members of the healthcare team.
