Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Perform CT scans on patients ranging in age from 0-100
• Conduct venipuncture for contrast injections
• Handle patient preparation and documentation using EPIC system
• Coordinate with respiratory and anesthesia departments as necessary
• Operate and manage Philips CT scanners efficiently
• Perform around 40 CT procedures within a 24-hour period

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• ARRT CT certification required
• NYS DOH venipuncture certification
• Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in CT
• EPIC documentation experience within the past 2 years
• New York State license or proof of application
