Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for a PET/CT Technologist in Cooperstown, NY. This assignment consists of 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week, totaling 40 hours, with a weekly pay of $4,500.

Key Responsibilities of the PET/CT Technologist:
  • Perform PET and CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
  • Position patients properly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and provide compassionate care throughout the process
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control policies
  • Evaluate image quality and perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment
  • Accurately document patient information, procedures, and imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and treatment planning
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of recent PET/CT Technologist experience
  • Active ARRT (RT)(R) certification required
  • ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification preferred or required by facility
  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable)
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience with PET/CT systems, radiopharmaceutical administration, and advanced imaging protocols
  • Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills
