Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and XR imaging studies, capturing 5-10 CT and 10-20 XR scans daily to aid accurate diagnoses
- Operate state-of-the-art GE Xray and Toshiba CT equipment with precision and care
- Collaborate with the radiology team including Manager Jamie Bealer and Lead CT Tech Melissa Pederson
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures in a one-scanner department
- Utilize McKesson PACS and Meditech EMR to streamline workflows and documentation
Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (RT(R)(CT)) required
- Oregon Medical Imaging license essential
- BLS certification needed
- Experience in CT and XR imaging to hit the ground running
Education
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in computed tomography and radiography techniques
- Familiarity with GE Xray and Toshiba CT systems
- Proficiency in McKesson PACS and Meditech EMR
- Strong patient-centered approach with attention to detail
