Key Responsibilities- Perform CT examinations under the supervision of the Radiology Leader, applying prescribed ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic imaging.
- Execute a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
- Adhere to radiation safety and MRI safety protocols for non-MRI personnel.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1, operating GE equipment within an EPIC EMR environment.
- Fulfill weekend and call requirements as directed by the facility.
- Perform all work in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the facility.
Required Qualifications- Completion of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology; associate or baccalaureate degree preferred.
- Active ARRT certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience.
- Radiation Safety training and MRI safety training for non-MRI personnel.
- BLS certification required.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Hands-on experience with GE CT equipment.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced radiology environment.
