CT Scan Technologist – Travel (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights | Sunday–Tuesday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Three 12-hour shifts, no on-call responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan procedures under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center setting
• Utilize CT modality to create diagnostic images while providing patients with a safe and positive experience
• Conduct CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures, including trauma and emergency room scanning
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching initiatives and continue professional development as technology evolves

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit to practice in the State of New York
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma or high-acuity academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with CT scan-guided specialized procedures
• Experience scanning intensive care or complex inpatient populations
