CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift (12:00 PM – 12:30 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holiday requirement includes 1 major and 1 minor holiday
Key Responsibilities- Perform a high volume of CT imaging studies including brain, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, and angiography procedures
- Assist with advanced procedures such as biopsies, drainage, and cryoablation
- Operate Canon 16-slice and 64-slice CT scanners within a single-room department
- Utilize RadNet and Merge Unity EMR/PACS systems for image acquisition and archiving
- Collaborate with on-site radiologists and lead technologists to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain on-call availability with a 30-minute response time requirement
Required Qualifications- Active ARRT certification with CT specialty certification
- Valid California CTI (Computed Tomography Imaging) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
- Ability to float to a secondary facility location approximately 6.5 miles away as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills- Familiarity with RadNet and/or Merge Unity PACS platforms
- Experience with interventional CT procedures including biopsies and drainage
- Comfort working in a high-volume environment averaging approximately 65 scans per day
