CT Scan Technologist / Radiology

Carlsbad, New Mexico

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | 4 days of call per month

• Perform professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic CT examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician and in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Provide CT care to patients for the purpose of obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist
• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Perform basic radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with and without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT certification in CT required
• Experience in both CT and general X-ray required
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Current state license as a general radiographer required
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Medhost experience a plus)

• Experience with biopsy and drainage procedures under CT guidance
• Familiarity with Medhost EMR platform
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Immediate start available for a 13-week travel contract with a consistent day shift schedule
• No floating required, providing a stable and focused work environment throughout the assignment
