Schedule / Job TypeContract (12 Weeks) | Travel | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Three 12-hour shifts per week plus 50% on-call with every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered, while continually monitoring patient condition and responding to changes in status
- Prepare equipment and supplies, implement safety standards, and perform appropriate quality control procedures; troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions as necessary
- Position patients and perform CT and radiologic imaging procedures following established protocols
- Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and take corrective action including repositioning the patient and repeating procedures as needed
- Enter, transmit, and report scan results; float between X-ray and CT departments as required
Required Qualifications- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in both Radiology and CT
- Ability to float between X-ray and CT departments
- Availability for 50% on-call requirement including every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills- Completion of a CT Technology certificate program in addition to the associate degree
- Prior travel assignment experience in a clinical setting
