Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Contract | 4x10-hour shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, Graves (Night) Shift | On-call required (approximately 3–5 shifts per month)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures using 64-slice and spiral CT equipment in a high-volume, acute care environment
- Operate Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilion One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis scanners
- Conduct 3D imaging and support coronary screenings on patients presenting with chest pain
- Perform imaging on bariatric patients utilizing specialized equipment accommodating patients up to 660 pounds
- Respond to on-call assignments as scheduled within the department
- Adhere to all departmental protocols, ACR accreditation standards, and patient safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months of current, recent CT Technologist experience (required)
- Recent experience in a Level I Trauma facility within the past 6 months (required; 1 year preferred)
- Active ARRT (CT) Certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Active California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Venipuncture Certificate (must be in hand at time of submission)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- One or more years of Level I Trauma Center experience
- Hands-on experience with Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilion One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis equipment
- Familiarity with Kronos timekeeping systems
