Contract | Days | 36 hours/week (4x9s) — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30AM–6:00PM | Backup call requirement every 9th weekend; holiday call possible

Key Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic CT images using complex equipment and techniques to support diagnosis of disease and injury across all patient age groups, from neonate to geriatric
• Comply with all Federal, State, Joint Commission, and departmental regulations governing radiation control and safe operating procedures
• Accurately document patient medical information and follow patient identification protocols
• Participate in annual education documentation including dose optimization concepts aligned with Image Wisely and Image Gently programs
• Act as a preceptor for new employees and assist in training students, interns, and externs as needed
• Assist in the evaluation of new imaging equipment and support the development of procedures for efficient unit operation

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine (diploma required)
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current advanced ARRT CT registration strongly preferred
• Two or more years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred
• Familiarity with Canon CT systems a plus
