Key Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures including stroke, trauma, head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, and CTA studies
Operate advanced CT scanning equipment including high-slice GE scanners in an acute care hospital setting
Work within a fast-paced, multi-scanner CT department on the 3rd floor of a main hospital building
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence environment
Maintain a patient-centered, customer service-focused approach while managing a high volume of imaging studies
Required Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital CT Technologist experience
ARRT (R) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume imaging environment
Strong communication skills and positive, team-oriented attitude
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with trauma and stroke imaging protocols
Proficiency with IV placement and contrast administration
Familiarity with GE CT scanner platforms and Meditech EMR
