CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 4x10-hour shifts (Thursday–Sunday) | Rotating Schedule | Graveyard and Day Shift coverage | No call required
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT imaging studies including W/WO contrast of the head, spine, abdomen, pelvis, CTA PE, runoff, and extremities
- Perform general X-ray studies including chest, PICC line placement, tube placement, and trauma/fracture extremity imagingFloat between CT and General X-Ray departments as needed
- Operate independently during graveyard shift (11pm–7am) as the sole staff member in the imaging department
- Start IVs when necessary, as no RN is present in the diagnostic imaging department
- Utilize EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS for image acquisition, documentation, and communication
Required Qualifications- Active Washington State license required
- ARRT certification with CT specialty certification required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- IV insertion skills required
- Radiation badge required (candidate must provide)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with Toshiba 64-Slice CT Scanner and Carestream X-ray equipment
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
- Experience in a low-volume, independent, or critical access hospital setting
