    Job Title

    CT Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

    Location

    Los Angeles, CA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Evening/Night Shifts (5x8 Hours) | Shift times vary: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, 7:00 PM–3:30 AM, or 11:00 PM–7:30 AM | Every other weekend required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform a complete range of CT exams including Code Stroke, CTA, Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Heart, CT Biopsy, Spine, Chest tube placement, Extremities, and Facial bones
    • Operate Siemens and Philips CT equipment; Siemens experience is required — no exceptions
    • Provide imaging services across a broad patient age range, from adolescents to geriatrics, in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
    • Perform advanced CT procedures including Brain perfusion, Colonography, CT arthrography, Drainage, Myelography, Radiation therapy planning, Transplant studies, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
    • Perform IV starts, contrast administration, and image management via PACS
    • When applicable, act as lead technologist and assist in the training and mentoring of other staff members
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California state license required at time of submission
    • ARRT certification and ARRT Advanced CT certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • Siemens CT equipment experience required — candidates without this experience will not be considered
    • Experience in ER, Level I Trauma, and inpatient/outpatient settings
    • Must pass an onsite Advanced EKG exam (80% minimum passing score; two attempts permitted) prior to start
    • Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in teaching hospital, community hospital, children's hospital, or adult ICU environments
    • Proficiency with biopsies, aspirations, and interventional CT-guided procedures
    • Experience with PACS systems and contrast administration
    • Background in multiplanar reconstruction and advanced CT imaging techniques
