Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM (3x12s) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: July 30, 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate CT and general radiology (x-ray) procedures, including portable examinations, according to protocol for patients of all ages (neonate through geriatric)
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, prepare equipment, and monitor patient condition before, during, and after scanning; make appropriate modifications to positioning, slice thickness, and intravenous contrast administration
  • Perform contrast injections as ordered by physician; explain procedures, gather pertinent patient history, and review contrast history questionnaire forms with patients
  • Perform exam segmentation for PACS archive; accurately enter data into HIS and utilize RIS to capture patient visits, charge information, procedural codes, and resource usage
  • Report critical findings to appropriate personnel and assist physicians with invasive procedures as necessary
  • Adhere to radiation safety measures, infection control policies, and all applicable patient safety standards within CT and x-ray exam and control areas
Required Qualifications
  • Completion of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a staff Radiologic Technologist
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting
  • Active ARRT certification
  • Active Virginia (VA) state license — submissions without a VA license will not be considered
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) only
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital environment
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment with a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques
