CT Technologist / Radiology (Travel)
Location
Mesquite, Nevada
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes
- Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and position patients appropriately to capture required images
- Administer contrast materials and prepare CT scan equipment prior to procedures
- Perform quality control procedures and apply all radiation safety standards using independent judgment
- Provide coverage for other areas within the Radiology Department as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
- Active A.R.R.T. registration
- CT Registry certification
- Current Nevada X-ray License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience (required for travel submissions; no local candidates will be considered)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills within a clinical or imaging environment
