Contract | Night Shift | Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to perform radiographs as requested by physicians
• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Adjust technical factors in proportion to the patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation exposure
• Operate portable equipment and C-arm; transport patients as needed
• Assume temporary responsibility for patient care and safety while in the radiology department
• Utilize hospital computer systems and PACS; perform associated clerical tasks

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required
• CT competency required; must be able to perform CT scans independently
• Knowledge of and adherence to radiation safety practices
• Experience operating portable radiographic equipment and C-arm
• Proficiency with PACS and hospital information systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT certification in CT preferred
• Experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Demonstrated ability to address the psycho-social needs of diverse patient populations
