Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Provide timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
- Perform basic radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
- Conduct studies with and without contrast media, applying knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and surgical/sterile procedures
- Operate and process CT systems in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current state licensure as a general radiographer in Texas (or eligible)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
- Prior travel assignment experience required; local candidates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with biopsy and drainage procedures under CT guidance
- Familiarity with contrast media administration protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
