Travel: CT Scan Technologist / Radiology

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Provide timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Perform basic radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Conduct studies with and without contrast media, applying knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and surgical/sterile procedures
• Demonstrate proficiency in CT system processing and maintenance of proper imaging protocols
• On-call duties required — details to be discussed during interview

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Current state license as a general radiographer in Texas
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required — local candidates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with contrast media administration and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Familiarity with C-arm and OR imaging environments
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging protocols
