Contract | Evening Shift, 4x10 Hours (1:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday–Thursday) | On-Call Rotation Required (Friday–Sunday, approximately every 4–5 weeks) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from newborn through geriatrics for physician interpretation
- Conduct inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and scheduled interventional CT cases as assigned
- Start IVs and administer contrast agents in preparation for CT procedures
- Assist with CT-guided biopsies and utilize PACS system for image management
- Participate in on-call rotation to support staffing coverage during weekends and high-volume periods
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with CT designation
- Active South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) CT registration — must be in hand at time of start
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Radiation dosimetry badge required — must be provided by placing agency
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level III Trauma or acute care hospital environment
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
- Experience performing CT-guided interventional procedures
