Contract | Days | Every other Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shift); plus on-call weekend hours (11:00 PM Friday – 11:00 PM Sunday) every third or fourth weekend. On-call hours will not overlap with scheduled Sunday shift. 12 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by a physician.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of radiation protection and safety standards.
- Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with facility policy.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and ethical standards in the delivery of patient care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an AMA-approved radiology program required.
- ARRT Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (R) required; CT certification (CT) required or must be eligible.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior relevant experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
- Familiarity with contrast media administration protocols and cross-sectional imaging in a clinical setting.
