CT Scan Technologist (Inpatient)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Friday–Sunday, 2:00 PM – 2:30 AM | 40 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce diagnostic CT scans and assist the radiologist in diagnostic CT scan procedures under the supervision of the CT Supervisor
  • Coordinate daily workflow and assist in the throughput of emergency room, inpatient, and outpatient CT imaging
  • Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist and operate CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment
  • Perform CT procedures of the human body in accordance with departmental policy and procedure guidelines
  • Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and exam evaluation across neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
  • Support advanced imaging needs including trauma, stroke, and code aorta cases while managing care prioritization in a high-volume environment
Required Qualifications
  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists certification: ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT)
  • Active State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience in CT
  • Experience in trauma imaging required
  • Prior travel assignment experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience operating a variety of sophisticated CT imaging units and image storage systems
  • Familiarity with hospital and departmental computer systems used in imaging environments
  • Experience providing age-specific care across diverse patient populations including neonatal and geriatric patients
