CT Scan Technologist (Inpatient)

Key Responsibilities- Produce diagnostic CT scans and assist the radiologist in diagnostic CT scan procedures under appropriate supervision
- Coordinate daily workflow and assist in the throughput of emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases
- Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist and operate CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment
- Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and exam evaluation across neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Perform QC monitoring and maintain compliance with departmental policies and procedures
- Support advanced imaging needs including trauma, stroke, and code aorta cases while managing care prioritization in a high-volume environment
Required Qualifications- American Registry of Radiological Technologists certification: ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT)
- Active State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography
- American Heart Association BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
- Minimum two years of clinical experience in CT
- Experience in trauma imaging required
- Prior travel assignment experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or high-acuity inpatient setting
- Familiarity with hospital and departmental computer and image storage systems
- Experience with advanced CT imaging protocols including stroke and aortic emergencies
