CT Scan Technologist (Inpatient)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Produce diagnostic CT scans and assist the radiologist in diagnostic CT scan procedures under the supervision of the CT Supervisor
- Coordinate daily workflow and assist in the throughput of emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases
- Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist and operate CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment proficiently
- Perform CT procedures of the human body in accordance with departmental policy and procedure guidelines, including advanced imaging for trauma, stroke, and code aorta cases
- Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and exam evaluation across neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Maintain appropriate QC monitoring and stay current with changes and advancements in the field of CT imaging
Required Qualifications- American Registry of Radiological Technologists certification: ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT)
- Active State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in CT
- Experience in trauma imaging required
- Prior travel assignment experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with advanced CT imaging protocols including stroke and aortic emergencies
- Familiarity with hospital and departmental computer systems, including CT image storage systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage care prioritization in high-volume, rapidly changing environments
