Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
Effective communication skills and customer service excellence
Demonstrated ability to operate CT equipment and produce quality images
Knowledge of radiation safety practices
Description:
The CT Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered.
The role requires adherence to established practices and procedures for all patient populations.
Responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients and obtaining optimum images of specified anatomy.
The technologist interacts with various computer programs and systems daily.
Customer service skills are essential for effective patient care.
The position assists the Radiologist when necessary and ensures proper safety protocols are followed.
The technologist demonstrates effective use of CT equipment in a variety of settings.
Ongoing education and professional development are encouraged.
Flexibility with work hours and on-call duties may be required.
Team collaboration is essential to provide high-quality patient care.
