Contract | Days | 37.5 hours per week | Onsite | Shifts vary: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (3 days) and 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 12:00 PM – 9:30 PM (1 day), with 30-minute breaks
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT and diagnostic radiologic imaging exams, including fluoroscopic examinations, in accordance with established department policies and radiation safety standards
Prepare and enter required written documentation including informed patient consent and patient chart documentation
Conduct portable and operating room examinations in a timely and professional manner, observing sterile and aseptic techniques as necessary
Assess and address the physical and special needs of adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients, including accommodations for hearing-impaired and physically challenged individuals
Perform related duties in PACS and maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas
Adhere to all bio-safety and radiation safety rules, regulations, and hospital/department policies, including awareness and prevention of Sentinel Events
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT certification required
New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) license required
