Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist:
- Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and department protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, following all safety and radiation standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records within the hospital information system
- Monitor patients during scans and respond promptly to any adverse reactions or complications
- Adhere to all HIPAA, infection control, and hospital policy standards
Requirements of the CT Technologist:
- Active ARRT (CT) certification and Oklahoma state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CT imaging experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of CT protocols, anatomy, and cross-sectional imaging
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills
