Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team in White Plains, NY. As a CT Technologist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic CT imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for medical interpretation by radiologists.

Key Responsibilities
As an CT Technologist you will:
  • Perform CT scan procedures, including positioning patients, adjusting equipment settings, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination.
  • Secure and verify patient information and medical history, explaining the procedure and addressing any patient concerns or questions.
  • Operate CT scanners and associated equipment, including power injectors and imaging workstations, to capture high-resolution images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols for optimal diagnostic outcomes.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control of CT images, identifying any artifacts or technical issues and taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Evaluate scan results and determine if additional images are necessary, consulting with radiologists as needed for timely and accurate diagnosis.
  • Maintain detailed records of each procedure, including patient information, imaging parameters, and any adverse reactions or incidents.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including sterilization and sanitation procedures for equipment and examination rooms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices in CT imaging techniques.

Schedule Details:

Night Shift:

8-hour shift

4pm to 12am

Full-time, permanent placement.

Qualifications
  • The CAT Scan Technologist must be a graduate of an allied health education and accredited radiography school or hospital-based program. NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required. ARRT registered (RT) and radiograph
  • (R) and or (CT) certified and / or NMTCB registered (CNMT), and documented training and experience in operating CT equipment and radiation physics and protection.
  • Passing advanced CT examination /certification within 1 year from date of hire.
  • Continuing education requirements need to be upheld to meet the standards set forth by governing bodies. Current standards are 24 ECE credits over a two-year period depending on year of birth.
  • DOH IV certification preferred or by completion of 6-month orientation.
  • BLS certification through the (AHA) American Heart Association is required or must be completed with 90 days of hire.
  • Radiation dose pledge for both Image Gently and Image Wisely through the American College of Radiology (ACR) will be performed during the orientation process and before end of probationary period.
