CT Technologist

Wilkes-Barre, PA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week | Saturday and Sunday 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards of care
- Operate CT scanning equipment safely and efficiently during assigned shifts
- Prepare and position patients for CT examinations, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
- Review and assess image quality, making technical adjustments as needed to produce diagnostic-quality images
- Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care and imaging workflows
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and patient records
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT
- Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as required
- Demonstrated experience performing CT imaging procedures
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends
- Strong knowledge of CT scanning protocols and radiation safety practices
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a high-volume acute care or hospital setting
- Familiarity with a variety of CT equipment platforms and PACS systems
- Strong communication and patient care skills in a fast-paced environment
