Job Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic CT imaging using appropriate kV and mA techniques. This role includes daily quality control calibration checks, injecting patients with radioactive material as per physician orders, maintaining patient films and electronic data for radiologist interpretation, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety guidelines. The technologist will also order and verify radiopharmaceutical doses, perform CT procedures according to prescribed protocols, and assess and respond to patient needs during their visit to the Radiology department.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a JCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• New York State License (L.R.T)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified)
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of CT experience
